NORTH PORT — A group of North Port High School students and recent alumni, along with several chaperones, recently returned from a trip to England where they had the opportunity to sing with other U.S. and international choirs as part of a pre-Olympic event.

The NPHS students and three alumni, along with two chaperones and their chorus director, flew to England the last week of June to sing in an international music festival with other choirs from the U.S. and around the world, directed by Rollo Dilworth of North Park University in Chicago. He conducted a similar pre-Olympic concert before the 2008 Beijing Games.
