Warehouse owner Carolina Sendon says Aaron Gombar did this mural of a Mustang because her husband loves the muscle cars. “It’s just a happy thing, something to entertain the town,” she said.

Aaron Gombar says his murals are inspired by Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, a car cult figure and cartoonist who created the hot-rod icon Rat Fink and other extreme characters.

ENGLEWOOD — Nationally published cartoonist and muralist Aaron Gombar completed six murals on garage doors at an Englewood warehouse building, commissioned by the owners, who love muscle cars.

Gombar originally was asked to paint four murals, but warehouse owners Carolina Sendon and Jaimie Puerto liked his work so much they decided to increase the order.
