PUNTA GORDA — The season was only half-finished, but driver Kelli Burns got to have an “I’m going to Disneyland” moment, anyway.

Burns survived an eventful 25-lap feature as a fender split apart and she spun out two laps from the finish. But placing third was enough for her to capture Punta Gorda Speedway’s midseason championship in the Pro Trucks division.
