It’s now a couple of weeks into the eighth year of the Sunrise Kiwanis Shoes for Kids Project, and the children of Charlotte County Public Schools need your help to get ready for the upcoming school year.

An army of local agencies and businesses stand ready to accept donations of new sneakers (think shoes that would be appropriate for physical education classes). People can drop off shoes from sizes 5 toddler to 15 adult men’s (12 women’s); those sizes most in need are 4 youth to 10 adult. See the list running with this story for the location nearest to you.
