NORTH PORT — Michael Sollitto, construction manager for Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County, is looking for help to restore seven homes in North Port that will go to deserving families.

“We’ve been working down in North Port for the past couple of years, purchasing foreclosed homes through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which is under the auspices of the Office of Community Development in Sarasota,” Sollitto said. “We’ve done about 23 homes already in North Port over the last couple of years, and we could use some local volunteers to help us rehab seven more.”
