PUNTA GORDA — Twentieth Judicial Circuit Judge Christine Greider denied a motion Tuesday to halt proceedings in connection with the wrongful death lawsuit filed against the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office by Nathan Lee, widower of Denise Amber Lee, who was murdered in 2008.

The two-week trial is expected to begin
July 16 at the Charlotte County Justice Center, according to Lee’s attorney, Patrick Boyle.
