SARASOTA COUNTY — Sarasota County Emergency Management officials began their quest in determining how much the recovery from Tropical Storm Debby will cost at a meeting Monday morning.

“We were looking at their documentation of damage they had to do and their protective measures and actually going out and reviewing those areas,” said Sarasota County recovery chief Scott Montgomery. “We’re gaining more information, and we’re also getting potential dollar amounts on the damage that has occurred.”
