PORT CHARLOTTE — Some people come to Southwest Florida to go fishing, some to play golf. Some just want to play games, and they’re willing to teach others how to play just so they’ll have some competition.

Dozens of the latter gathered Saturday to participate in the Card & Game Day at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County.
