Glenallen gets grant for behavior analyst
The Gulf Coast Community Foundation announced Tuesday it has awarded a number of grants to local organizations, including $63,000 for Glenallen Elementary School in North Port.
The school plans to use the money to pay for an applied behavioral analyst as part of the school’s early intervention program for students with academic and behavioral problems. The money comes from two different sources: $49,822 from the Community Health Endowment Fund and $13,178 from the Venice Endowment Fund.
