PORT CHARLOTTE — The dugout of the Florida State League North All-Stars called for a walkoff shot from Lakeland’s Avisail Garcia. It took the Venezuelan two tries, but he got it.

Garcia launched his third home run of the championship round into the pond beyond the left-field boardwalk, lifting the outfielder to a victory in the FSL All-Star Home Run Derby. Garcia beat St. Lucie’s Cory Vaughn (two) and Daytona’s Nelson Perez (one) for the overall crown.
