CHARLOTTE HARBOR — Dozens of kids and their dads got out their fishing poles, baited up hooks with shrimp and worms, and competed to see who could reel in the first, the longest, the ugliest or the most unusual fish Saturday morning.
Although the fish were scarce due to a low tide, prize winners were caught in every category. The real prizes, however, were the smiles on their faces on the day before Father’s Day.
