SCSO captain won’t face charges
SARASOTA COUNTY — The State Attorney’s Office will not file charges against a Sarasota County Sheriff’s captain accused of having a sexual relationship with an underage girl in the 1990s.
Chief State Attorney Ed Brodsky wrote in a memo that the findings in a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigative report of SCSO Capt. Ronald Locke shows a “lack of victim cooperation or any independent evidence to corroborate the allegation sexual relationship with a minor.”
