PUNTA GORDA — Nearly 67 years after serving in the United States Army, World War II veteran Paul Grube finally got the recognition
he deserved.

At a Flag Day ceremony at Laishley Park on Thursday, U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney presented the 91-year-old Port Charlotte resident and Ohio native with four medals he had been promised nearly seven decades ago.
