VENICE — Neal Communities is entering the Venice real estate market with the opening of Grand Palm, a 1,005-acre housing development located off River Road.The master-planned community of 1,999 homes will be the largest in the Lakewood Ranch firm’s portfolio and promises to have 25 parks, nine miles of trails, and an additional nine miles of interconnected wildlife corridors
linking Grand Palm with Jelks Preserve bordering the Myakka River. Neal is in expansion mode, announcing in February that it bought 500 lots to develop homes in Englewood’s Boca Royale Golf & Country Club.
