NORTH PORT — Even though only one commercial permit was granted last month for Cocoplum Village Shops, motorists along U.S. 41 can see the progress being made in the development located between Sumter and Salford boulevards.
Panera Bread bakery/café, one of Cocoplum’s outparcel buildings, has its drive-through almost ready for new customers as it moves toward an anticipated June 25 grand opening. Awnings and signage are visible on the outside. Inside, the restaurant has been painted and furniture, wall decorations, kitchen equipment and stainless steel display shelves can be seen.
