The Leadership Charlotte Class of 2012 graduated Friday evening during a party at Kingsway Country Club in Lake Suzy. The class includes: Forrest Bass, Farr, Farr, Emerich, Hackett and Carr, PA; Mike Bladorn, Monarch Printing; Sammie Brooks, Grace Presbyterian Church; Keith Callaghan, Edison State College Foundation; Jason Ciaschini, Punta Gorda Police Department; John Davidson, AMIKids Crossroads; Denise Dull, Integrity Employee Leasing; Celene Galvan, Celene’s Clean Team; Christy Gilfert, Edison State College; Debbie Guilbault, Southwest Florida Works; Liz Green, Harbor Style Magazine; Ed Hill, Integrity Employee Leasing; Angela Hogan, Charlotte County Homeless Coalition; Peter Keating, Florida Gulf Coast University; Punta Gorda City Councilwoman Rachel Keesling; Bryan Kehoe, Busey Bank; Carrie Leontitsis, Olmstead & Wilson, PA; Robin Lindecamp, Calusa National Bank; Eric Loche, Wells Fargo; adviser Bob “Fig” Newton, Coldwell Banker Sunstar/Morris Realty; Trudy Overbey, New Hope Natural Healing Center; Roger Palmer, Pottery Express and Bamboo Farm; Melissa Sanders, Charlotte Regional Medical Center; Paul Schaefer, Sage Homes; and Leah Valenti, office of Congressman Tom Rooney.
The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce has offered the Leadership Charlotte program for 23 years. Through it, community leaders come together and spend a day or each month learning about various county businesses, services, organizations and governmental entities. The class recently held a successful fundraiser, The Night of Knights, which benefited the Virginia B. Andes Community Clinic and the Yah Yah Girls Back Pack Kidz.
