Property tax discounts eyed for disabled veterans

Voters across the state will be asked in November to vote on a joint Senate resolution amending a 2006 Florida law that provides disabled veterans with additional homestead discounts.
If passed, the amendment will provide all disabled veterans in Florida, 65 years old and older, bigger property tax breaks.
