The sky — and beyond — is the limit for students enrolled in the Charlotte County Aerospace Institute, a dual-enrollment program offered at Charlotte Technical Center in Murdock.
The program, started in 2006, is a partnership between Charlotte County Public Schools and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, one of the premier aviation and aerospace universities in the world. The program is the largest of only four such high school programs in the country.
