NORTH PORT — The possibility of an energy economic zone in North Port will be up to the City Commission to decide when it meets today in a morning workshop.

The workshop starts at 8 a.m. at City Hall, 4970 City Hall Blvd. (off Sumter Boulevard). Besides the energy economic zone, or EEZ, agenda item, the commission will address modifications to the city sign ordinance, the proposed 2013 budget process, and the Property Assessed Clean Energy, or PACE, program.
