The dance floor was packed all night at the sock hop held recently at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.

Breaking out poodle skirts, cuffed jeans and undershirts, party-goers relieved the glory days of the ’50s styles and music at the Jan. 21 fundraiser held jointly by the Knights of Columbus Council 5399, Isabella’s and the Women’s Council of St. Charles.
