Book fest draws hundreds

Author Naomi Pringle spent Saturday morning in Englewood's Pioneer Park selling her book "Ginga' Root Tea" before later presenting a program on the best seller "The Help" at the Elsie Quirk Library as part of the third annual Dearborn Street Book Festival.
The third annual Dearborn Street Book Festival didn't officially open until 10 a.m. Saturday at Englewood's Pioneer Park but people began arriving before 9 a.m. to browse tables full of books and chat with authors. Several hundred people attended.

It was 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and the third annual Dearborn Street Book Festival would not open officially for another 30 minutes, but a crowd already was gathering in Pioneer Park.
