NORTH PORT — The score was lopsided, but North Port High School emerged in good spirits after learning several lessons on Tuesday night during a 3-0 loss against Sarasota (25-9, 25-14, 25-16).

“I felt like the things that (the Sailors) were doing, we’re working on, they just did it better,” Bobcats coach Becky Halbert said. “Our girls are still learning as they go along, but tonight was a good thing for them.”
