PUNTA GORDA — Julia Fowlie must not have felt like sharing — at least not in terms of the Charlotte High School girls pole vault record. And after a big day at the Tarpon Invitational track meet on Saturday, she will not need to.

Fowlie, a junior, cleared 11 feet at Tarpon Stadium to make the record her own. The previous best was 10-6 by Gina Gravino.
