Ronald Robinson, 78, of North Port, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.

He was born Dec. 20, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio to Roy and Viola Robinson.

Ronald was a member of the American Legion Post 254 in North Port, a member of the honor guard as well as the chaplain for the Elks Lodge in Largo, Fla., and an active member of the Gulf Coast Assembly of God Church in North Port.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzzane; children, Deborah Bush, Ricky (Mary) Robinson, Robin (Brian) Burchield, Tammy (Mike) Morley, Richard Carson, Doris Hubber, and Edward Rutter, and Patty Robinson; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at the Gulf Coast Assembly of God, 2800 Pan American Blvd., North Port, FL. For online condolences, please visit www.mckeenorthport.com.
