June Curtis Goodman

June Curtis Goodman, 92, formerly of North Port, Fla., passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Casa Mora in Bradenton, Fla.

She was born June 4, 1920, in Easton, Pa., the daughter of Mary and John Curtis.

June married Lester E. Goodman Dec. 23, 1939. She was a teaching assistant with the Bethlehem, Pa., school system. In her free time, June enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafts, and church activities. For the past 30 years she has lived in Lazy River Park and later in North Port Pines of North Port.

June is survived by her children and their spouses, Les and Susan Goodman of Lakewood Ranch, Fla., and Millie and Bill Kimball of Chittenden, Vt.; grandchildren, Joshua and Jared Goodman, and Bill and Nikki Kimball; and three great-grandchildren.

She will be interred in Bethlehem. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Living Waters Lutheran Church of North Port.

Arrangements are by Kays-Ponger and Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Venice Chapel.
