Charles Evan Crane, D.D.S., 58, of Sarasota, Fla., passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at his residence.

He was born June 27, 1954.

Charles is survived by his sons, Matthew Crane of Orlando, Fla., and Daniel Crane of Sarasota; mother, Maxine Gindhart of Port Charlotte, Fla.; brother, David Crane of Covington, La.; sister, Mrs. Jeanne (Richard) Stanley of Venice, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Crane.
