NORTH PORT — The North Port Art Center will be accepting artwork for its new exhibit, “Fresh Start,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5. Artwork may be any media and any subject matter. The exhibit runs Jan. 7-March 1, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A reception will be held at the Art Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 12. The NPAC is located at 5950 Sam Shapos Way.
