The man in charge of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Fort Myers regional operations center was terminated from his position on Oct. 9 due to misconduct, according to FDLE spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger.
Plessinger said that Francisco A. Hidalgo had an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate, but declined to comment on the details of their relationship. She was also unable to comment on whether the subordinate was terminated or reprimanded for their actions.
