NORTH PORT — The slate of officers for the city’s Business and Economic Development Advisory Board passed by a 3-2 vote at Monday’s North Port City Commission meeting. However, after a break, Commissioner Cheryl Cook changed her mind and withdrew support for the new board members.

“During public comment, new information came to my attention,” Cook told fellow commissioners.
