Clad in a purple Baltimore Ravens jersey with linebacker Ray Lewis’s number on the front, Wayne McMannis, brother of accused killer David McMannis, pleaded for donations during a video posted on Facebook aimed at raising funds to help his brother, who currently is sitting in the Charlotte County Jail charged with the murder of Tara Sidarovich.
Wayne speaks mostly about David’s innocence during the four-minute video, quoting a Bible verse and claiming that David, much like Sidarovich herself, was a “child of God.” He says David still sleeps with a night light, once pulled a woman out of a burning building in Pennsylvania, and is not the killer he has been made out to be.
