Report: Man exposes self to woman, children
NORTH PORT — Police arrested a 41-year-old man Monday after he allegedly exposed himself and committed a lewd act within sight of a woman and four children.
According to an North Port Police Department report, the 30-year-old victim pulled into the parking lot at the Walgreens on North Toledo Blade Boulevard just after 4:30 p.m., parking her vehicle in front of a water-dispensing machine and leaving the children — ages 1, 5, 9 and 10 — inside. As she began to use the machine, she noticed a man sitting on a nearby bench. The report states the man began to fondle himself while looking at her. The woman got back in her vehicle and called police, giving them a description of the man. NPPD officers located the man, who had ridden his bike west on Price Boulevard. He was identified as Kyle Thomson Crosby, of the 2200 block of Renfro Avenue, North Port, according to the report. The woman positively identified him as the man she’d seen committing the sex act. Crosby was arrested and charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition and indecent exposure. He remained at the Sarasota County Jail Tuesday on $10,500 bond.
