PUNTA GORDA — A physical altercation between two jurors brought proceedings in the wrongful death lawsuit of Denise Amber Lee to an abrupt halt Tuesday after one of the jurors was excused and replaced just moments before the panel was to be sworn in.

It’s unclear what exactly took place or whether the dismissed juror was a man or a woman. Neither court personnel nor attorneys for both sides would comment. No arrests were made.
