The four-show Summer Sizzler series opens tomorrow night at The Players in Sarasota with “The Taffetas,” a musical tribute to the all-girl groups of the ’50s.

Kathy Abney, Laurie Colton, Megan Ireland and Nikki Maack Schuster are the Taffeta Sisters. Having performed at the Moose Lodge in Muncie, Ind., they are on their way to a national television appearance on the Dumont Television Network and then it should only be a matter of time before they get the nod from Ed Sullivan.
