Cirque Italia loves Venice and vice versa. “The people of Venice have been so welcoming to us that we are going to stay another week,” circus president Manuel Rebecchi said Friday.
After securing an extension on the use of the parking lot of the old Kmart on U.S. 41 north of Shamrock Boulevard, Rebecchi announced the addition of four shows: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and a twilight show on Sunday at 5 p.m. To thank area residents for their support he also announced a $5 per ticket discount for Florida residents who bring proof of residency to the box office when they purchase their tickets.
