ENGLEWOOD — After missing some chances earlier in the game, the Lemon Bay High School junior varsity football team finally put it all together in the final minutes to score and defeat visiting North Port 7-0 Wednesday night.

Lemon Bay quarterback Victor Mellor took the snap and carried the ball up for the middle for a 26-yard touchdown run. He received some key blocks from Hunter Numen and Hunter Schroll in scoring the touchdown. Jacob Rasnick kicked the extra point to give the 3-1 Mantas the lead with three minutes, 42 seconds left in the game.
