WARM MINERAL SPRINGS — A man reportedly poured hot coffee over a pregnant woman’s head Friday night and took her purse following an argument.

According to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s report, the 38-year-old victim told a deputy that around 10 p.m., she and Roger Lee Marshall, 45, were sitting in the driveway of Marshall’s home on Tegastas Drive, arguing. The victim told Marshall she didn’t want to continue their relationship and asked him to get out of her car. He poured a cup of Starbucks coffee over her head, the report shows, then grabbed her purse with her wallet and $250 cash and got out of the car. The victim drove away from the house to call 911.
