Michael Scott Ribelin, 35, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 of a heart attack.

He was born in Tampa, Fla., and later moved to Gainesville, Fla., residing in Englewood the last 20 years.

Michael was a history buff and loved football. His supervisors knew him as a hard worker. Michael loved people and never met a stranger. He was quick witted. His warm smile and humor blessed all he came in contact with.

Michael is survived by his mother, Nora Ribelin; sister, Kimberly Elena (Ribelin) Nugent; half-brothers, Donald Lee Ribelin Jr. of Salisbury, N.C. and Roger Dale Ribelin of Wetumpka, Ala.; nieces, Casey Headden and Stephanie Nugent of Englewood. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Ribelin from Salisbury.

A Celebration of Life was held in Englewood.
