Will Pro-Health and Wealth LLC be the business project of the century? Rick Fishman, president and CEO, believes his new company will create hundreds of jobs and generate wealth.
“A year ago I had a vision to obtain existing products not currently available,” said Fishman.
Thousands already exist, and he intends to find and bring them to the market to make a difference in this world, generating income and creating wealth.
He is committed to identifying and developing proprietary products in the field of healthy living and lifestyles, so Fishman, with Vice President Kevin Lingard, has set up Pro-Health Products Inc., 981 Ridgewood Ave. at Bay Indies Road.
“My intention is to put people back to work,” said Fishman.
As the company grows he will hire independent sales representatives all over the United States to market the products and services. Venice will be the national headquarters with corporate offices and a distribution center. During the coming year his intention is to hire 12 people.
Having searched the globe for products and services to fit his mission, he currently has four exclusive items. Using private labeling, he is marketing organically grown and processed global coffee beans; healthful chocolate proprietary products delivering natural ingredients; glycerin Artesian Island olive oil; and shea butter soaps. Six more products are being added and all can be purchased direct.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, before entering the family food service and equipment supply business. Eight years later he acquired a Cleveland restaurant and operated it for three years.
For 18 years Fishman’s sales and marketing prowess built a multimillion-dollar health and life insurance company in Indianapolis. He sold his segment of the larger organization, which was bought out by the Blackstone Group in 2008.
Moving to Venice and seeking motivation, he realized he could assist people over 65 to stay healthy.
Following six months of preparation and planning, his skills have laid the foundation for this company to become a world-class leader in the industry. Fishman’s five-year plan is to have nationally between 500 and 1,000 representatives, then to take his company global.
