SARASOTA — Burns Court Cinema will serve as the venue at 6 p.m. Saturday when writer/director/producer Steve Tatone of Sarasota will hold a reception and screening of his new film “Blind Pass,” with the goal of encouraging funding for the movie’s global marketing.

Tatone said the screening was arranged to raise awareness of not only the film — featuring international film star Armand Assante and Tatone’s co-producer Danielle White of Bradenton — but also upcoming film projects his Midnight Pass Productions currently has in development.
