Dozens of parents brought their children to the Tringali Recreation Center in Englewood Saturday to learn about safety and receive a free Child Identification Kit.
ENGLEWOOD — Dozens of parents brought their children to the Tringali Recreation Center in Englewood Saturday to take part in a Kids Safety Day and receive a free Child Identification Kit from the Englewood Masons.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and other groups were also on-site offering safety information and providing parents and kids alike with educational materials at the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. event, sponsored by Charlotte County Community Services.
