The Hermitage Artist Retreat and the Greenfield Foundation announced painter Trenton Doyle Hancock is the winner of the $30,000 Greenfield Prize, awarded this year in visual art.
Hancock is an American painter whose work has been featured in exhibitions since before receiving his undergraduate degree in fine arts from Texas A&M University in 1997. He went on to get a Master of Fine Arts degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2000. Hancock’s work has been shown in both group and solo exhibitions since 1995 around the U.S. and the world.
