Returns less frenzied

Englewood resident Jackie Davids waited in line a few minutes at the Kmart in Port Charlotte Wednesday to exchange the mountain bike she gave her grandson for Christmas. Local retailers said online shopping and gift cards have helped reduce long waits at return counters this holiday season.

Christmas is over, and you made it past the holiday shopping frenzy relatively intact. Time to relax, right? Maybe not.
If you’re like a lot of folks who got stuff they didn’t need, didn’t want, or that didn’t fit or work, chances are you’ll be venturing out to return all those unwanted gifts.
