SARASOTA COUNTY — The estranged wife of a Charlotte County firefighter slain in August — reportedly by her boyfriend — was arrested Thursday morning on burglary and grand theft charges in connection to the case.

Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Danielle K. Dreher, 41, of North Port, on a warrant at her Van Camp Street home. She remains at the Sarasota County Jail without bond. Her boyfriend of four years, Michael Minor, 27, is charged with the murder of Danielle’s husband, 39-year-old Sam Dreher, a Charlotte County Fire/EMS lieutenant. Minor additionally was charged Thursday at the jail with the same charges as Danielle.
