Sarasota School Board to choose new chairperson
SARASOTA — During a special meeting just before its regular meeting Tuesday, the Sarasota County School Board will elect its new chairperson.
Former chairwoman Caroline Zucker led her last meeting Nov. 6, when she was recognized for her service chairing the board. As she’s no longer chairwoman, at the special meeting, which begins at 2:45 p.m. —

3 p.m. regular meeting — Sarasota County school superintendent Lori White will call the meeting to order, and then will accept nominations for a new chairperson and vice chairperson.
