Teen rallies peers, community for friend

ENGLEWOOD — Hundreds of people came out on a picture-perfect Saturday morning to shop at a community garage sale and help raise money for a North Port girl battling cancer.

The garage sale/fundraiser at Quality Self Storage, 3041 S. McCall Road, was organized by 13-year-old Tony Colton of Sarasota to support his friend, 17-year-old Ashley Kreuger.
