PORT CHARLOTTE — The disposal of waste accumulated in grease traps has been a headache for most counties in the state — Charlotte County being no exception.

With the recent opening of a grease recycling facility at the East Port Water Reclamation Facility at 3100 Loveland Blvd., however, that problem may be a thing of the past.
