PUNTA GORDA — Fifty needy families with children attending Charlotte High School won’t go without a grand feast this Thanksgiving, thanks to members of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club.

The organization donated 50 turkeys, pumpkin pies and all the fixins’ to the school to dole out to students whose families would otherwise not have been able to provide them with an adequate meal.
