There’s still time to submit an entry for the Rotonda West VFW Post 10476 bra decorating contest to be held during the Save the Boobies Party at 5 p.m. Saturday at 3725 Cape Haze Drive, Rotonda. Breast cancer “is really close to us,” says Ladies Auxiliary President Cathy Moseley. Post Commander Roger Luedtke, whose first wife died of breast cancer, submitted one of the bras for the bra decorating contest. The event features a chicken “boobie” dinner, music with Don & Suzy Akers, raffles and more. There is no fee to enter. The Ladies Auxiliary project this year is breast cancer research. Tickets are $10. Call 941-697-1123.
