STAR teacher-artists shine at Hermitage program

Hermitage Artist Retreat’s teachers in residence will present a free public program Aug. 10 at the gulf front campus on Manasota Key as part of the State Teachers’ Artist Residency program, or STAR. Teachers include Donna Haynes, Freddie Rosa, Reid Conrad, Pamela Janecki and Teryle Traver.
ENGLEWOOD — Winners of the Hermitage Artist Retreat’s teachers’ residency program will present a free public program Aug. 10 at the gulf front campus on Manasota Key.
The evening’s activities include presentations by five teachers-in-residence who are visual artists, writers and playwrights. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. with open studios and house tours. At 7:30 p.m. there will be beach readings.
