You can’t make many mistakes and still hope to win a football game. You can’t be pushed around and treated like somebody’s little brother and still hope to win a football game. The DeSoto County football team learned this as they traveled to Booker High School September 20 for their first district 5A-13 game.

The Bulldogs made the mistakes and were out-muscled by the Tornadoes in the 37-17 loss. The Bulldogs fumbled and lost a punt and a kickoff and had an interception and gave up a safety, and that was just in the third period! The mistakes started in the first drive of the game when the Bulldogs helped the Tornadoes with three penalties that led to a touchdown.
